Scream Pretty and celebrity make-up artist, and author, Hannah Martin are delighted to unveil their latest collection, Foundation.

Join us behind the scenes as we shoot the Foundation Collection by Hannah Martin. From the design and sampling back in 2023, where we drank coffee (there's a theme to our meetings!) and discussed the 'Must have pieces for every jewellery Box' inspired by Hannah's very own jewellery favourites.

In her own words - tells the story behind this fantastic collection, that will become part of your jewellery collection for now, and for years to come.

OBSESSED!

“I’m a bona fide jewellery obsessive, this is my sixth collection with Scream Pretty, and we’ve called it Foundation, because despite having loads of fun with my previous collections, I realised that we didn’t have beautiful foundation pieces that really sit at the core of your jewellery box.” Says Hannah. “

Getting Shoot Ready

I think everyone has pieces that they immediately gravitate towards when they want to feel good, and our 'Foundation' collection embodies just that. Inspired by pieces that I wear every day, Foundation features classic staples curated so that every design not only complements individuality but stands the test of time with the versatility to layer, stack, and style. You start your make-up with a great foundation – jewellery is no different!”

The Foundation Hoops - Must have stackable hoops.

Signature to the Foundation collection, and Hannah’s favourite, the chic silver and gold 'Foundation Hoops,' available in two sizes, stand out as the quintessential accessory for any occasion. Slightly tapered making them classic, every day wearable pieces designed to be worn individually or stacked for maximum impact.

“As a make-up artist, understanding undertones is key. I have a neutral undertone, so I have the pleasure of wearing silver and gold,” says Hannah, “I love wearing both sizes of these hoops in different metals across piercings for a slightly different ‘ear party’ look.”

For the foundation collection we wanted to create pieces that would be part of your everyday jewellery look - then you can add a signature pieces to compliment an outfit or occasion - but the Foundation pieces, could and should make up part of each layered look!

Stacking Bracelets and Bangles, you NEED these

Inspired by gifts Hannah has received from her husband, for her 16^th and 17^th birthdays, and one for their 10^th wedding anniversary, Foundation’s three stacking bracelets make the perfect gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself. The delicate ‘Diamond Bracelet’ features shimmering cubic zirconia stones, whilst the edgy 'Curb Chain Bracelet' adds a chunky texture to the look.

Finally, the 'Your Superpower' open oval bangle features a secret message engraved on the inside: 'No One Is You, And That Is Your Superpower.'

Hannah Invited her friend, and fellow make-up artist Zara Findlay to join her for the shoot, Zara is a big fan of Scream Pretty jewellery, and Hannah - and she made the shoot super fun for us all.

Sparkle and Shine - for everyone!

Elsewhere, nothing says timeless classic like diamond and pearls; “As a makeup artist, I love how the lustre of pearls compliments all skin tones”, says Hannah. Sparkling Ear Parties, Studs, Large Bezel Huggies and Bracelets sit alongside decadent Baroque Pearl Huggies and Drop Studs for effortlessly elegant styling. The Pearl and Chain Necklace and Bracelet feature a half chain, half pearl design add touches of luxury with Scream Pretty’s signature playful twist.

Layer up your necklaces

Hannah and Scream Pretty’s Necklaces in Foundation include the ‘Bamboo Chain Choker’ and ‘Ball Chain Necklace’. Designed for their chic simplicity, these chains can be worn individually, layered or have charms added to them for stand out styling.

“The foundation for any jewellery box is indeed layering chains,” says Hannah, “I love the delicacy of the Bamboo Chain, it has such a lovely texture and looks brilliant layered with the Ball Chain. They create such an impact when you mix and match styles, and of course I love layering two tone metals.”

Completing the first drop, the ‘Chunky Twist Huggies’, ‘Chunky Twist Ring’ and ‘Ball Chain Anklet’ give ‘put on and never take off’ vibes.

Safety First - Jewellery inspired by Hannah Martin's wonderful Mum

Launching on the 25^th February, just in time for Mother’s Day, the heart of the collection lies in Foundation’s two signature pieces, the ‘Safety Pin Charm Hoops’ and’ ‘Safety Pin Necklaces’ both inspired by Hannah’s family; “These two designs perfectly symbolise what the Foundation collection means for me. I told this story in my book, about how my Mum would painstakingly separate each of her lashes with a pin after she’d put her mascara on! I still have one of her pins stuck onto my make-up mirror with Blu-Tak, I see it everyday when I put my make-up and jewellery on, so it felt really special to celebrate these memories in this collection.” Says Hannah.
