What are hypoallergenic earrings?

To prevent any irritation with sensitive skin, earrings crafted from 925 Sterling silver (an alloy containing 92.5% silver) are mixed with copper and sometimes zinc to give the metal more residual strength as 100% silver is naturally a soft metal. Hypoallergenic earrings should not contain any lead or nickel. All Scream Pretty earrings are hypoallergenic and therefore comfortable to wear all day (and night) without irritation for all skin types.
