Our favourite TIME LORD has been spotted out and about on her 'Doctor Who ' Press tour of the USA and Canada in some very gorgeous Scream Pretty Jewellery.
Following the announcement last year that Jodie Whittaker would play the first female incarnation of the Doctor in BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, fans around the world eagerly awaited the mysterious new Time Lord taking over world-saving duties this year. Having seen the stellar first episode we can definitely say she’s a worthy addition to the list of Doctors past.
Appropriately, Jodie chose Scream Pretty faceted Galaxy Chained Stud Earrings in silver for this promotional shot at the New York Comic-Con
(with big thanks to Hel Sykes, Jodie's stylist for these lovely photos).
At The Filmmakers @timesupnow dinner, a cause that we whole heartedly support, Jodie wore another Scream Pretty design, the stunning Faceted Teardrop Earrings.
Jodie's seen here with fellow actor Andrea Riseborough and philanthropist Emma Weymouth.
We also have a stunning necklace to match - (just in case you're reading Jodie)
Jodie is best known to UK TV viewers as Danny Latimer’s mum, Beth, from Chris Chibnall’s Broadchurch – which also stared Tenth Doctor David Tennant.
In an interview she told the Radio Times she didn’t need any convincing when it came to the role
“There was no persuasion needed. If you need to be persuaded to do this part, you’re not right for this part, and the part isn’t right for you. I also think, for anyone taking this on, you have to want to fight for it, which I certainly had to do. I know there will have been some phenomenal actors who threw their hats in the ring.”
“It feels completely overwhelming, as a feminist, as a woman, as an actor, as a human, as someone who wants to continually push themselves and challenge themselves, and not be boxed in by what you’re told you can and can’t be. It feels incredible.”
Proving accessories can speak volumes, rather brilliantly, Jodie has worn an engraved bar bracelet from Lily Charmed on the DR Who events tour, that proclaims 'TIMELORD' on one side and 'IT'S TIME' on the reverse.
We couldn't agree more, and we're loving the Tardis blue shirt!
A Tardis dimensioned jewellery box could come in handy come to think of it....
